With https://review.typo3.org/c/Packages/TYPO3.CMS/+/81411 the SVG tree was removed and with it the possibility to add custom css classes on tree items.
This is needed for highlighting tree items by extensions like EXT:pagetreefilter

I'm closing it, because #103211 introduced a way for "hightlighting" tree items.
