for consistency the data types should all be camelcased .. see also thread in core list called "RFC #16107: Bugfix - listNum = 0 not working anymore due to stdWrap changes"

I think you are referring to this post and the following.

I would tend to go for two words each ("file name", "function name"). The reason is simple: It is correct English... I don't think we need camelcase there.
