Description

The filter icon isn't nice, too big and underlined. The close icon is too small (is used inside textfields normally) - so it doesn't look nice. Please adjust or make a suggestion.

I attached the patch for EM to use these icons.

Hy Steffen,

thanks a lot for the all the work you invested in the changes of the EM!

I tried to rearrange the elements and to used a more streamlined styling.

  • More padding between Filter and Input field
  • Input field got the styles from the default TYPO3 input-fields (eg: edit page title)
  • "X" should be only shown if content is in the box
  • Filter Icon is at the start (as every else in TYPO3)
  • Input is 21px hight

After:

Hope that helps. :)

BTW: The input of the "Backend-Search" should also have this Input-Field style.

This should be fixed in the next release, please.
@Steffen: Any Feedback?

  • Status changed from New to Closed

As there is already a "new" Extension-Manager in the Building
process, we could close the Tickets for the old "New EM".
