Resizable text areas in webkit browsers sticks in resize mode

Description
I have noticed that resizable text areas (like page TS configuration) is unable to scale correctly if the vertical scrollbar is shown... the problem exists in Safari 5.0.3 and Chrome 9 on mac - but the problem is probably a general webkit issue.
The only way to get out of resize mode, is to either scale width to the minimum width or reload the page.
I have also tested FF 3.6 without problems

Please note that the problem only exists if the vertical scrollbar is visible
