Description

It is possible to subscribe (with an email address) to all changes in Gerrit (review, new pushes, ...).

It would be really great to "get back our habits" and get this posted to the core mailing list, isn't it?

I found out that subscribing to the Forge Tracker is useful for following "what's happening". If you tell Thunderbird to display the Forge mails threaded, it's almost like the old core list, just of course with more "noise" because all entries without patches for reviewing are also there.. Since Mr.Hudson also comments when there is a new patch to review, you can quickly see what's happening.

The easiest way would be if the "TYPO3 v4 Release Team <>" user would put the needed projects on it's watch list and turn on email notifications. Of course that works only if mails sent to that address end up on the mailing list you want, or we add the mailing list address as additional address of the user and make it the preferred one (I guess notifications will then be sent there).

I really doubt this will make things better, but if you like to try it out, we can do it. So, if the core team lead and/or release manager give me a go...

As of today the user "typo3gerrit" watches TYPO3 v4 Core and has notifications turned on. They should end up on the core mailinglist. Thanks to Xavier for doing it!

Seems not to work, we will check for mailing list and Gerrit issues...
