It would be nice if an event for several days also appears in the list view like day view.
The normal cal user expects an event between the begin date and end date. That’s the sense of the end date.
OK, by then several recurrent dates for every day are a workaround but not really nice.

Moving this to 'sponsoring' since it is a feature, which has already a workaround.
But I have to say, that the fact, that those events aren't expanded is a feature of the list view. The day view as you mentioned has to expand those multi-day-events manually, which is really a pain.
