Description

When on http://preview.typo3.org/news/article/call-for-papers-open-for-typo3-developer-days-2011/ , clicking "Development", "Community" or "Event Committee" just leads back to the list view.

Can't confirm,

The list differs from the category - not much because the same news got same categories. Try "community" and "event ..". Lower right corner got a different news.

Yes, you are right. It seems to work in general. But there are some minor flaws:

1. The Top News always stays the same regardless of the selected category. I think that is what confused me.
2. When following a category link from inside a news, the url gets ugly (like http://preview.typo3.org/news/select_category/84/article/t3board11-about-beer-bug-auctions-aerial-photographs-and-typo3-geeks-in-the-snow/)
3. There seems to be an error with floated boxes (as seen on http://preview.typo3.org/news/select_category/3)

As agreed, we are going to use shortcut field in the category records, so there should be no more these kind of ugly links. The change is already committed to SVN.

3. There seems to be an error with floated boxes (as seen on http://preview.typo3.org/news/select_category/3)

As far as I'm aware, this is fixed.
