Description
Attachments would be easier to handle, if they would be assigned to the related ticket, e.g. with the ticketnumber as a prefix (like in the email-subject).

You mean renaming the file with the ticket number as prefix?
But since you can only access the files by opening the ticket, what would be the advantage?
Or do you think of accessing the files directly by FTP or SSH?

Unfortunately some (different) customers tend to name there attachments screen1.jpg, screen2.jpg or Neues Textdokument.txt. It would be easier to comprehend which attachment belongs to a certain ticket, if the attachments are prefixed with the tickenumber in case of accessing the attachment-files via FTP/SSH. It would also be easier to administer the files, e.g. in case of cleaning up old files via FTP/SSH.
Alternatively a subfolder (named with the ticketnumber) for each ticket could be created (I saw this in other ticketsystems).
By the way: The opportunity to obfuscate the actual number of tickets through the extension would also be a nice feature. This is usefull because it makes it a little bit more difficult for the customers to suggest/guess the frequency of ticketcreation respectively the total amount of tickets. This could be done by randomized ticketnumber for instance.
