Freetype not installed should rise an alert on Status Report module

Description

In a server with GD installed but no FreeType support (strange but happens) the GIFBUILDER object is unusable, even if no text is trying to be rendered.

As this can be a big problem this situation should be warned on the Status Report module.

The install tool also has some reports, don't know, if freetype is covered there.

Of course, it would be a nice addition. Would you like to provide such a feature? Creating a report isn't that hard.

Yes, it's already on the install tool

Of course, it would be a nice addition. Would you like to provide such a feature? Creating a report isn't that hard.

Of course, I'd just applied for membership of this project to be able to do so :)

Hi,

as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?

The problem is solved at least in TYPO3 6.1, just tested it.
