Description

Hi,

It would be nice if you could migrate the extension cleaner http://forge.typo3.org/projects/extension-cleaner to git.
Migration will be very easy since I haven't added any source code to the project, yet.

Being able to use gerrit as well would be awesome ;-)

Cheers,
Andreas

Sorry, I'm reluctant to migrate many extensions by hand. It costs severe effort (>5min), as several things have to be done manually.

Please wait until we/"they" find a way for user-requested automated migrations.

There is nothing in the SVN repository which needs to be converted. I just need a git instead of svn.

It doesn't matter, whether it's a new repository or a migration. It involves several manual steps on the Gerrit server, in Gerrit UI and in Forge.

I'm not willing to do this that often (and I know that while the time of writing I could have done it for you - but then the next one will come tomorrow and ask for another one..).

Please settle for SVN for community extensions - sorry for the moment.

Sorry Steffen, but I cannot accept your answer because several community extensions already use git.

I do understand why you are reluctant to migrate repositories by request, but on the other hand all community members should be treated equal.

I did exactly create one community extension on Git. And this was after I got admin rights in Gerrit and to test, whether it works for me. All the FAL stuff that I created was not community, but core / BLE related.

If you find sb. else, who creates them for you, I will not stop them! But I know that our setup isn't settled and we will have to fix some settings for every single project we create until we decide on the perfect setup.

So I'm not treating you worse than others. And if sb. would read this and I would yield now, the next one will blame me for treating not everybody the same, don't you think so?

So please be patient (or bother sb. else). I will not respond here anymore (nothing against you personally, just because I said everything at least twice already).

yours
Steffen

I'd offer to put it into our git/gerrit infrastructure now. Do you still care?

Thank you for the offer, Peter.

If you can spare a few minutes I would love to move the development from http://code.otto-hanika.de/cleaner back to forge.typo3.org.
