Description

From my point of view we need a Stylesheet for the voting app. This can be a plain simple one, but should take into consideration the following topics:
  • Colors of TYPO3
  • TYPO3 Logo
  • Look and Feel should be identified as "in connection with the TYPO3 Association"

Søren will take care of that task with his design team.

Update June: The stylesheet is ready, but untestet. It can be used for the next election, but has to be tested.

The design team has created a stylesheet and CSS to implement it. It can be found here: http://forge.typo3.org/issues/37441
Who will be implementing it now? Should we ask Bastian Waidelich?

Before you implement it => We will extend the voting app for the needs of the priority poll (aka members' budget poll). It might be better to integrate it after the extension to avoid double work.

Bastian is pretty busy right now anyway and if I'd like him to do the technical extension. Maybe also this cannot be done by Bastian himself.

Suggestion: I will add the styling to the task of extending the voting app => you do not have to care about it anymore :). See http://forge.typo3.org/issues/37010

Thanks for the update Peter!
Since the stylesheet is already done it should only be a matter of minutes to connect it to the voting app and see if something's missing.
I'd like to close the design team ticket at well, but can only do it, if we tested the outcome. So do you see any chance of testing it sometime soon?

No. I am just about to fix a description of the functionality needed. After that this goes to Bastian for evaluation of workload. The target date for having it in place will be beginning of Sept. If you think you really need to have the styles in place before (what for? we do not need it before!) -- go on. If you think there are advantages ... go on :-).

You could close the board ticket. You could even close the design ticket. There is a reference in the EAB ticket of my to the design ticket and I told you I'll take care. So what more? ;-)

@Peter Pröll: reading through board mails I see that we might need the voting app a lot sooner than expected. Can you make sure that the stylesheets will be applied asap?
This way we'll have them for the upcoming voting and I can close the associated tickets with confidence.
