Description

Hello guys,

walking through the TER it's quite complex to take a look into the manual of extensions.

Most extensions display: Not yet rendered

It would be a nice solution in my opinion to change the behaviour to the following way:

  1. directly after upload display: download manual (not yet rendered), linked to the file (either rest, or manual.sxw)
  2. after rendering of the manual -> view manual online

As we now have a much faster rendering process in place I assume that this is obsolete...?

not for me, still see "not yet rendered" quite often.

Theoretically it would be enough to link the rendering source additionally (even, if the manual was rendered), i (personally) do like to read documents, i can easily scroll and search (e.g. scw/pdf/...) than the splitted pages in the online manual :(

BTW, why do we have to click twice:

E.g.
First:
http://typo3.org/extension-manuals/sr_feuser_register/current/
Second:
http://typo3.org/extension-manuals/sr_feuser_register/3.0.1/view/

The last link would be enough (except many versions would be offered in the first step) ;)

What about two links in the listing and detail view?
One for HTML view and the other for SXW/PDF view?
Every person has other likes and two clicks to get a manual is too much IMHO.
