Description

Hello,

Could somebody please migrate the SVN repository of newsletter extension to git.typo3.org ?

http://forge.typo3.org/projects/show/extension-newsletter

I can provide a git repo if needed, just let me know.

TIA

Oh sorry, I recently moved to github.com, since it seemed that community extension are not supported for git. I should have cancelled that ticket...

So does that mean that community extensions are supported ?

Let's say we are in "Extended beta phase" ;-)

It's not very clear if you will migrate my extension or not, but in case you do, please do not migrate the current svn repo, instead clone https://github.com/Ecodev/newsletter

We can give you a git repo and we can also import the git code base from github.

however we can't support any sync to/from github other than an initial import. typo3->github can easily be solved by some cron task yourself. github->typo3 is not possible in the near future.

if you want to take advantage of the gerrit review process and host the git repo on git.typo3.org pls let me know. Other than that I'll close the ticket and we wait for better forge<->github integration which is on the roadmap already.

I don't think I need gerrit for this extension, so you don't have to anything.

I wish TYPO3 extensions using git would be centralized (cloned) on one point though, so they are easier to find... I guess I'll have to wait a bit more for that :-)

Thanks for your time anyway !
