Description

Last year Peter Kraume introduced the TYPO3 newsletter. It is planned to have quartarly issues. Due to several reasons, no second issue was sent out. So we want to create a small team to support the newsletter.
What is todo:
  • create content
  • improve bounce management
  • maintenance receivers

Søren will try to find some team mates.

Update may: Søeren reports, that Peter is not able to support that project longer. So Søeren will build a team. Frederic offered an email template (for ReachMail)

Update Juli: No news. Peter Kraume suggests, to talk to the Editorial Team. Søeren points out, that there is curently no technical basis to send newsletters. So we have to wait, until direct mail is reimplemented.

Update November: Ingo Schmidt has offered tu support the newsletter project. Søeren will contact him.

Update January: Søren is waiting for feedback regaring data privacy protection, if we want to work with an external service provider.

Update 2013-02: Still waiting for Feedback egaring data privacy protection.
We want to push the project forward. So Søeren will contact Ingo Schmitt.
He wants to integrate it into his sending system.
Søeren will contacte the editorial team, that a new issue of the newsletter can
be send.

Update 2013-03: Sill wait for input for data protection.
Alain did not get any response for the external guy.

Update 2013-04: Søeren is in contact with Ingo. Alain has still no answer from the lawyer.

Unfortunately several data protection issues came up. Since data protection laws of Switzerland seem to be in effect and I don't know too much about swiss laws, I try to get help from a swiss TYPO3 agency (send an email to Stucki and will ask others if he can't help)
