Description
As in previous versions the value entered in of the checkboxes is not stored, nor sent.

As Alex can't support version 1.x any more longer this will be fixed by co-workers for the "old" version. As soon as possible we update the SVN-branches and you can update your extension.

Oh really, that helped a lot.... Not!
We're not all developers here, and German is not my cup of tea. What's the trouble in creating a t3x when you ask someone to test your extension? The ignorance of developers regarding other users is getting pretty annoying.

Calm down Emile, everyone wants to help.
There is no download because 1.7.x is currently in progress. If there is a stable version, it comes to a .t3x file.
Meanwhile you can install a software like tortoise on your computer and check out the SVN stuff at:
http://forge.typo3.org/projects/extension-powermail/repository/show/branches/1.7.x
Please ask in a forum if this will not help you. This is not a support forum.

It's not usual to offer a t3x file when no final release is available. If you send me an email I will provide an up-to-date file to you.

I checked the SVN log, but couldn't identify which commit related to this bug. There's two commits from last Friday, but none seems to address the checkbox-issue? Nicole/Alex, is there a single commit fixing this issue, and if so, which one?
Emile, sorry about the german post in the second link I provided. However, the first link really has all information about the SVN, and how to get files / branches from there.
I am not involved in the development of powermail. I don't have the latest SVN version of powermail in any TYPO3 system, and so I cannot provide a .t3x file without quite some effort. There's nothing ignorant abvout that, don't you think?
I tried to help anyway by pointing you to a resource that has all relevant information. While I can understand your being annoyed, I don't think I deserve the sarcasm you pointed towards me. Please, if you expect people to be kind and understanding to you, consider being it to others, too.

Thanks for the link, Nicole. Unfortunatly, the changes from this commit do not solve the issue with the checkbox values. They still don't get saved. :-(

With "saved" you mean the mention in email? can you explain what you expect to happen and what really happens?!

I have a form field with two checkboxes. Like "What dou you like? [] Star Wars [] Babylon 5"
I select one of the checkboxes. Like "[x] Star Wars".
Expected behaviour:
The selected checkbox value is stored in the session and displaed in the mail (in ###POWERMAIL_ALL###).
"What do you like? Star Wars"
Really happening:
The selected value gets "dropped" on submission of the form. It's neither stored in the session nor displayed in the mail.
This misbehaviour happens only if field.checkboxJS = 1
With field.checkboxJS = 0 the selected value is stored in the session and displayed in the mail.
Checked with 1.6.8 and "1.6.8 plus commited fix for 35534", both behave the same.

I checked this issue again with the current 1.7 and 1.6 development versions and all works fine. Please recheck your site for any JS errors as this might affect the submit values.
