The extebase Extensionmanager does not display detailed information for extensions.

Which information is missing? We got rid of the popup window on purpose. The developer information etc. is removed to clean up the interface.

Ah, I found the button "configure" in the row thanks for the hint and sorry for not spotting it. It is not too preset that only active extensions can be configured and that the link on the right must be clicked that visually is not separated from the other texts (still work in progress so no topic to discuss).

I would add a second link to the configuration view on the extension title (not the key, not the version number).
Why are only active extensions configurable - technically that should not be prerequisite, correct?

Link: I'm not sure. If we add the link it means that "configure" is the action to do with an extension ... but not all extensions can be configured so some extensions won't have the link without an information for the user why not.

Only active extensions are configurable as it makes no sense to configure an extension that is not installed (as it does not have any impact). We tried to achieve an interface that shows the (new) user exactly which actions he should do with an extension - and configuring it is not something he should do if it is not installed. (And: yes technically it's absolutely no problem, so if there are good reasons to do so, we could probably create a patch pretty fast).

Where did the developer information and the file editor go ?

I appreciate you want to enhance the admins/user experience but I would be very careful about removing features/dialogues
on a CMS system that is used by thousands of admins / devs / editors. I would strongly oppose removing the file editing
sheet and the dev information sheet, please re-add them.

The current EM is not useful. Everybody can see the lack of features compared to 4.7.
