Description

Hi Thomas,

we think about using your extension in the internal area of our orchestra homepage (www.mbp-ev.de) to replace Doodle (www.doodle.com) for our rehearsal schedule management. Two features would be very interesting for us to have:

(1) Registration from cal listview
We have several rehearsals per week which we would like to present to our members in a cal listview for the next 6 months or so. Going into the details of each of those, registering there, and going back as necessary today would be quite complicated.
Idea: Create a simple "mass registration" for fe_users on the cal listview. Each event should have a registration drop-down (see below) and maybe a short textfield for additions ("will be a bit late"). One button below the listview to register for all rehearsals.

(2) Yes/No/Maybe support
We would need three kinds of registrations: "Yes" (as today), "Maybe", and "No" (meaning the fe_user has seen the event but cannot participate - he should still be notified about changes to the event, though).

Do you think these features are interesting enough for others to add them to register4cal? This would be great :-) Of course, we would be happy to help with testing and feedback!

Thanks
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

for the "mass registration" in the listview, I need to check, which hooks in the listview can be used for this. I'll let you know if this is possible when I checked it.

The yes/no/maybe feature should be usable with the current version of the extension. You can create an userfield, showing a checkbox with these tree values.

Regards
Thomas

Registraion from list view should be possible from the next version on. New template subparts define the way the registration form is being displayed for a list element.

Checking the other thing (yes/no/maybe field) I found, that using a select box or option field as a userfield is hard to accomplish. I will improve this also, but record it as a new feature request.
