Dragging a new element in a page makes the visible part of the page "jump" down.

Description

If you drag an icon from the top-toolbar in the page, above and below every element a drop-bar appears.

These bars vertically need additional space (which should be no problem on most sites).
But if a page contains many elements, you do no longer see the position, where you wanted to put an element in, because it was pushed down out of the screen.
That way you always have to scroll down, if you want to insert an element below the last one.

It would be convenient, if the position of the page which is at the top of the screen before dragging the icon would stay at the top, so that the whole page does not "jump" that much.

Yep, good idea if there's a way to do it :) Any ideas offhand?

Hmm, some fancy javascript-stuff remembering the current position of the browser on the page, but how exactly? ...

Jeff, you know FE-Editing better then me: How do other CMSes handle such problem?
I mean: If there already is a solution, why re-invent the wheel?
