Description

It would be fine having the possibility to upload a csv-file in the BE of the CE-type "Table".
Nowadays the user has to open the csv-file with an editor and copy the content into the field "table content".

Thanks for creating the issue. some feedback on that.

- Having an upload also increases the complexity (how to handle uploads if something fails - keep previous content or remove everything)
- This can easily be achieved by a custom extension, either extending this content element or by creating a new one
- Instead of an upload it might be better to select a csv file in fileadmin which then gets rendered?

do you want to implement such as extension?

That's really that what I meant. Similar to the screenshots below.

Having the csv-file-address, the system should get the csv-content and "put" it into the textarea for the table container
or
deliver the content directly to renderer of the table CType!?

as there is an easy solution and csv upload needs quite some work to cover everything, I am closing this issue
