Hi,
with TYPO3 4.4, mm_forum 1.9.0 (R34843) and RealUrl 1.9.3 and the standard-config from "/res/" the PM-System doesn't work.
The "Search" and "Send"-Button have no effect. No PM is saved.

The same here with 1.9.1 and the current trunk (#39666) svn.
I investigated some time and compared the post vars of the firebug output. They seam equal.
By bugfix was a local deactivation of the real url extension by system template.
