Description
Some grouping of extensions beyond "plugin" or "fe" would useful, because with numerous extensions in the TER it is hard to find extensions which fulfil a specific need. Searching for a keyword related to a topic or category can turn up many results in TER which are unrelated because they appear in the description for an extension.
This could be achieved through adding subcategories (eg. "image handling") or author/community contributed keywords/tags to the TER.
Filtering by sub-category or keyword in searches would then be helpful to find extensions which are related.
eg. filter for "slideshow", "carousel"

New extension will have tags that can be assigned by extension owner and by users. User added tags can be removed by extension author only.

With the new version it is possible to create / select own "frontend" categories like "Shop", "Gallery", ... for an extension.
