TYPO3 4.3 Development status report of week 26/2008¶
General
The 1st TYPO3 BugDay took place on June 27th 2008. Many bugs and features in the bugtracker have been triaged, updated or partly sorted out and are now ready to be patched an submitted for the Core. Thanks to Benni Mack and Ingo Renner for organizing this event.
Future bugdays will be on each last Friday of a month (next July 25th 2008) - but there'll be a separate announcement.
Sponsored projects
The announcement of details concerning sponsored projectes has been postponed, but will hopefully be published on the typo3.org website the next few days.
Miscellaneous
One update on the "Performance analysis of TYPO3 and elaboration of optimizations" by Tim Lochmüller: Tim is working on this topic from July to October 2008 and will submit his intermediate results during that period.
A meeting of the TYPO3v4 and TYPO3v5 teams is planned in some weeks to discuss integration and migration possibilities. Maybe some basic tasks can already be implemented in TYPO3 4.3.
