Frontend Dashboard¶

This wiki will be updated along with the process of this extension. You'll be able to read the thought about configuration and administration of the extension.

The configuration¶

Flexform - Layout¶

From the layout tab, you are able to do the styling of your dashboard. You'll be able to add a template file and a corresponding CSS file, for your own custom design.

The column choose will give you the possibility to (TADA!) choose the amount of columns

Flexform - Widgets¶

Widgets are separated by two types:

• Clean widgets
• Predefined widgets

Clean widgets:
Ex. a RSS feed widget, where the feed url isn't filled

Predefined widgets:
Ex. a RSS feed widget, where the feed url is already filled

The widgets¶

Along with the extension, there will be two predefined widgets

• RSS Reader
• E-mail

RSS Reader¶

By adding a URL to a RSS fead, you will be able to get the headlines listed - really not much to say :-)

E-mail¶

By adding

• Mail server
• Username
• Password
  You will be able to get a list of (unread?) mails from your inbox.

Thoughts/Questions:

• How can we store/secure the password of the user in the safest way?
• Would it be a great feature, being able to go directly to your inbox through this widget?!!!!
