Use the TYPO3 ToGo Demonstrator¶

• download the zip file

• direct download http://bit.ly/typo3togosample
• from forge svn:

   svn export https://svn.typo3.org/TYPO3v4/Extensions/lw_typo3togo/trunk lw_typo3togo
  

• extract to any directory or media (USB flash drive, HDD, CD-ROM) on Windows
• start TYPO3togo.exe
• enjoy!

Howto¶

• download the shell script
• adapt the configuration options in the shell script to your site:

• TYPO3_DOCROOT (default to "/var/www")
• TYPO3_ORIGINAL_DOMAIN

• execute script
• download the generated zip file and extract to any directory or media on Windows

How it Works¶

What does it do for you?

• all necessary components are downloaded and configured automatically

• Server2Go (Apache, MySQL...)
• imagemagick
• splash screen

• database and filesystem are configured and adapted
• TYPO3 configuration is adapted to work on 127.0.0.1
• TYPO3 data is cleaned (cached tables, temp files)
