DAM Assetsets¶

The DAM Assetsets provide the needed database tables and a GUI added to the DAM listmodule to group files together.
It tries to solve a often met real life requirement to group files together that have the same topic (like the same document or an the same image) but different formats.

Imagine a mediacenter frontend where you can download the latest advertisements as jpg, eps, tif, highres pdf plus a zip file including the photoshop file and the needed font to work with it. In terms of DAM every file is an asset itself. Looked at them from the mediacenter point of view the form a group.

atm the extension, although used alread in production, is in a very early stage of developement. means: everything (or mostly everything) in here might change in the next weeks.

There is not much documentation yet, but we set up a page for the moment. It does contain a link to a little video ;-)
