TYPO3 4.3 Unassigned Ideas

Below there's a list of ideas which don't have one ore more developers assigned, yet.
If you'd like to work on an issue or have questions about details, pleas contact the TYPO3 4.3 release manager.
However, to prevent that two different developers will do the same work, please don't start implementing things without giving feedback to the release manager!

General

  • Use references to file instead of making copies in content elements

Front-End handling / Perfomance

Database / DBAL

  • Try to introduce transactions where it makes sense (e.g. workspaces)

Back-End

  • Intgrate Page template selector
  • Improve User/Group management
  • Integrate graphical date selector
  • Introduce a possibility to save records through AJAX
  • Integrate possibility to clear page cache of branch
  • Implement the dashboard from Tim Lochmüller
  • Integrate information in filelist where a file is used
