About the TYPO3 Incubator

This is the TYPO3 v4 Incubator project. This project contains subprojects which are planned to be integrated in a future version of TYPO3. It serves as a place for those core-related projects to get some visibility. All projects within the incubator are located in the same Git repository but in different branches, which makes it easy to switch between different project branches for those who want to try out these projects.

The master-branch of the Git repository contains a rarther recent version of the TYPO3 Core master and is frequently (but manually) synched with the official core master.

Join the Incubator

If you would like your core-related project to be integrated into the Incubator, just apply for membership on this project and state the reason and which project you would like to move into or create inside the Incubator.

The Incubator.git repository

Each project on the incubator is using a specific branch like project-<your-project>. The master branch of that repository is the exact status of the upstream repository, the official TYPO3 Core repository - so please don't push anything to master.

Since there is no review step (Gerrit) required for the incubator, so you can directly push to your project by doing the following:

git push origin HEAD:refs/heads/project-<your-project>
