TYPO3 4.6 "rebase"¶
Overall goals¶
- Be a new basis for future TYPO3 releases
- make use of PHP 5.3 and raise the requirement
- get rid of deprecated parts
- get rid of $GLOBALS
- get rid of elderly ImageMagick & GraphicsMagick support
- drop support for Internet Explorer 6
- Improve the maintainance of a TYPO3 installation
