Fluid Designer

Added by Naike Beggiato about 4 years ago

"The idea is to have a JS UI allowing the creation of HTML mocks with special Fluid elements, allowing attributes (ViewHelper arguments) to be edited. Custom components for the UI are created based on ViewHelper arguments (an export similar to XSD) that can then be inserted. Package will contain a concept for very simple mocking of variables. A light PHP backend will be used for reading templates, writing them back and rendering previews. The package will then be integrated to TYPO3 as a backend module – giving us both a standalone package that can be used anywhere and the very same UI in TYPO3 as a module with components relevant for TYPO3 ViewHelpers. As the TYPO3 ViewHelper collection grows (with menu renderers for example) those become components in this designer. A requirement is to also support third-party ViewHelper packages like VHS (full support may not be possible due to the sometimes complex nature of ViewHelper arguments that can be supported by third parties).

The application is for two developers to work intensively on creating the package to a state where it can be maintained with regular effort – the team members will contribute all time required for future maintenance on the package."
