Speaking about TYPO3 on non-TYPO3 events [Events / Meetups]
What is your idea about?
I like to speak about TYPO3 as a developer but also as a consultant. I would like to be able to go to several non-TYPO3 events and speak about the possibilities of TYPO3.
What is the potential impact of your idea?
Making more "buzz" about TYPO3 so the community and the project can grow.
Approximate Funds needed

Personally, I would say, it the role of each member of TYPO3 community. To promote TYPO3 around.

How can we enable those community members to be able to do so?
I would like to see this travel costs being coordinated by the community itself. This would mean to create a list of events (either near or far) and to find the right fit for this representation.
I understand Fedir question as this should be the baseline of each community members, but not all have the skills, time, financial background or network.
I also understand that this also would create a big overhead for each initiative.
How can we become more active here without too much bureaucracy?
Maybe Richard could explain if he is looking for funding for a group of people that he would coordinate?

Sorry for my late answer. Didn't get an alert although I "watched" this topic.
What I want to achieve is that we CAN speak on several non-TYPO3 events. I'm totally with you that it should be a role of each member, but maybe "speak" wasn't enough. With speak I mean giving presentations about TYPO3 and what you can do with it. And to be honest: I don't see a lot of community members do that. I for example have send in a talk about TYPO3 for PHP Benelux. I'm waiting if the talk will be approved, but when we can do some small sponsoring, the talks will most definitely be chosen. So a little bit of money will help spreading the world so we get the possibility to speak on events.
So the budget is to make it possible for community member to give presentations on non-TYPO3-events.
