This happens currently in <a class="changeset" title="[FEATURE] FE cache information request attribute Refactor TSFE->no_cache towards the new Request..." href="http://forge.typo3.org/projects/typo3cms-core/repository/1749/revisions/0bdf6daa7772354dcbeb9c4769a69242362a9c80">0bdf6daa7772354dcbeb9c4769a69242362a9c80 when enabling the admin panel in the frontend. I don't know which commit broke this.
TYPO3 Core - Feature #102382 (New): Jump to page in treehttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/1023822023-11-16T12:02:39ZSimon Schaufelberger

I often have the use case that I want to navigate to a page where I only have the slug from the frontend and want to edit the page and siblings of that page. I search the page in the right top corner by the slug and then would like to open the page tree to exactly that page the same way like PhpStorm does it with this icon:

Basically all the parent pages of the currently opened page should be expanded.
TYPO3 Core - Bug #102313 (Under Review): Allow change of metadata if file is deletedhttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/1023132023-11-03T14:20:44ZSimon SchaufelbergerTYPO3 Core - Bug #102074 (Resolved): Fix grammatical errorshttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/1020742023-10-01T11:19:59ZSimon SchaufelbergerTYPO3 Core - Bug #100780 (Accepted): Install tool opens without backend frame after login from ba...http://forge.typo3.org/issues/1007802023-04-29T08:53:18ZSimon Schaufelberger

The install tool opens in a standalone view without the normal backend frame after logging in in the install tool modal layer. This occurs on Firefox 105 and Edge 112

Steps to reproduce:

Login into the backend

Click on any module that opens the install tool. The modal window where you have to login again should appear

Login into the install tool

The backend frame disappears and the install tool will be opened standalone with this url: http://typo3.test/typo3/install.php?install%5Bcontroller%5D=maintenance&install%5Bcontext%5D=backend

TYPO3 Core - Bug #100756 (Resolved): JavaScript errors in install toolhttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/1007562023-04-26T09:17:22ZSimon Schaufelberger

I have updated my TYPO3 core test environment running on PHP 8.1 and nginx and the backend is running find but the install tool is not working at all. These are the console errors that I get:

Browser: Firefox 105 under Ubuntu 18 (latest released version)

After some git checkouts I've noticed that the first breaking commit is this one: https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/commit/df97f469c1d8e0c00fcee34d04384d813341ec62 which updates some npm dependencies. It seams like Firefox 105 is not compatible with them.
TYPO3 Core - Bug #100034 (Under Review): Start dragging Content Object selects title in Firefoxhttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/1000342023-02-26T07:04:32ZSimon Schaufelberger

Start dragging a content object also automatically selects the title. This bug only occurs in Firefox and cannot be reproduced in Chrome for some reason.

The documentation shows an example code under the section Creating (semi-transparent) Boxes with transparent Text which doesn't render exactly what I would expect as the background of the boxes are all gray in my case. I tried ImageMagick and Graphicsmagic with the exact same result.

When I comment out the first image (20) i get the "second generated image" and when I comment out the second image (30) i get the third one.

Expected result is one image with all 3 different background colors.

Current behavior: Somehow the background color is not overwritten for the other images

PS: In my case I downloaded a font from the internet and referenced it in the typoscript from the documentation

This is broken since TYPO3 10.2 with this patch: #64158

Expected:

When adding a media content element with a youtube link, a preview is generated in the File List module and visible. Going to the content element, this preview image is not shown, neither in the default overview over all content elments of the page, nor in the edit view in the tab "Media".
TYPO3 Core - Bug #95379 (Under Review): Make file paths absolute in GIFBUILDERhttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/953792021-09-27T19:41:47ZSimon Schaufelberger

I created a symfony command controller where I create images with the GIFBUILDER but this fails as on cli mode the file paths can't be resolved properly.

In order to get a correct file path, the core needs to work with absolute file paths.
TYPO3 Core - Feature #70923 (Accepted): TCA: Show proper error message if validation is failinghttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/709232015-10-21T19:04:36ZSimon Schaufelberger

in TCA you can define validation rules for example the range. More here:

In case of an error, don't just frame the field with a red border but also say, what is the error.
