Redmine TYPO3 Core - Feature #19152 (Closed): Remove JS popup when login expiredhttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/191522008-07-25T17:49:54ZChristoph Koehlerchristoph.koehler@gmail.com

As part of 4.3 I implemented this idea.
Patch is attached, please provide feedback.

This is how it works now:
30 seconds before the login expires, a modalbox window slides down with a countdown of 30 seconds and a button to refresh the login. This does not require username/password, it simply extends the current session.

Once the countdown expires, a login form is automatically loaded. Login will refresh the session and the internal timer and allow the user to continue work as before.
(issue imported from #M9052)
TYPO3 Core - Bug #18816 (Closed): TYPO3_SITE_URL in t3lib_div::locationHeaderUrl to support TYPO3...http://forge.typo3.org/issues/188162008-05-19T23:10:10ZChristoph Koehlerchristoph.koehler@gmail.com

Similar to bug #18803, REQUEST_HOST doesn't take subfolders into account, so we change it to TYPO3_SITE_URL instead.

(issue imported from #M8463)
TYPO3 Core - Bug #18803 (Closed): pageErrorHandling doesn't work with relative files in a subfold...http://forge.typo3.org/issues/188032008-05-16T21:06:31ZChristoph Koehlerchristoph.koehler@gmail.com

pageErrorHandling checks for the REQUEST_URL environment variable, which is the root domain, even if TYPO3 is installed in a subfolder. So relative files in fileadmin should be prefixed with http://domain.com/subfolder/, but are just prefixed with http://domain.com/, causing the relative file to not be found.

Need more feedback of possible pitfalls with this approach.

The user admin section lists all users. The icons to delete, edit, SU, switch to the user seem to be shifted up by one. It may have something to do with disabled user accounts in the list, too.
So in order to switch to the user in row 4, I need to click on the switch user icon for the user in row 3.

When editing a template setup by itself, not as part of the whole record, clicking save in the docheader doesn't save the template setup, it just reloads it.

Getting this when editing a file from File->Filelist:

Catchable fatal error: Argument 2 passed to t3lib_div::compileSelectedGetVarsFromArray() must be an array, null given, called in /Users/christoph/Sites/trunk/src_trunk/typo3/template.php on line 477 and defined in /Users/christoph/Sites/trunk/src_trunk/t3lib/class.t3lib_div.php on line 1592

Happens in r3138 trunk.

Taking http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=7262 a step further and implementing the new docheader in the filelist module.

This isn't completed yet, still need to add the header to the upload, new, edit, rename parts, but putting this out there for early feedback.

FE users couldn't log in. The newloginbox would show they are logged in, but going to another page or reloading the page would show them logged off. That happened with permalogin settings 1 and 2. Once I disabled that setting by setting it to -1, logins would work fine again.

PHP is 4.4.4, TYPO3 4.1.1
(issue imported from #M5849)
TYPO3 Core - Feature #16813 (Closed): JSeventFuncCalls onunloadhttp://forge.typo3.org/issues/168132006-12-26T21:31:06ZChristoph Koehlerchristoph.koehler@gmail.com

onunload didn't work with JSeventFunCalls but might be required, for example with Google Maps to fix some memory leaks with IE.
Attached is a patch that adds that feature just like onload:
$GLOBALS["TSFE"]->JSeventFuncCalls["onunload"][tx_bla]="GUnload();";

I tried to add images to a page in its page properties, but the element browser didn't show any.
I looked at the images in the media->files module and now they appear in the element browser.

Test:
I tested it with a folder of images that I hadn't looked at in the media->files module before, and nothing showed up. Once I looked at them, they did show up in the element browser.

Skin looks funny in Opera. I noticed oversized checkboxes, and some other stuff seems wrong, too.
Screenshot attached.

Ability to configure a page with the frontpage users.
This is from the newloginbox_tmplable extension by Miroslav Monkevic <m@vektorius.lt>
I don't know if you need his permission first, I am sure he won't mind.

Just replace around line 87:

// Get storage PIDs:
$d=$GLOBALS['TSFE']->getStorageSiterootPids();

with:

// Get storage PIDs:
if ($this->conf['pid']) {
$d['_STORAGE_PID'] = $this->conf['pid'];
} else {
$d=$GLOBALS['TSFE']->getStorageSiterootPids();
}

Now you can configure it like so:
plugin.tx_newloginbox_pi1.pid = 141

ID'ing as Opera makes rollovers at least in GMENUs not work. Problem is the JS browser detection.
See this thread for more info, it's easy to fix, but I don't know if you guys want to make more significant changes as explained in the thread:
http://typo3.org/documentation/mailing-lists/dev-list-archive/thread/110128978/?tx_maillisttofaq_pi1%5Bsword%5D=opera%20rollover&tx_maillisttofaq_pi1%5Banswered_only%5D=0&tx_maillisttofaq_pi1%5Bmode%5D=1

First of all, good job making the JS menu work!
There is just a graphic problem now. When you click on any little icon, the menu pops up. Now move the mouse to the last entry and back up again. You will see division lines appear between the single menu points.
Screenshot attached
