Description

The plan for SVN SSO is as follows:

  • The typo3.org SSO server transmits the md5(password+salt) of each user which is stored along with the Redmine user
  • SVN access is done, as currently, via Apache WebDAV
  • Some Apache Auth module calls a script which we wrote (PHP script if possible)
  • That script takes the submitted password, does some md5(password+salt) and checks it against the MySQL entry

I have just looked for some apache auth module which could do this, and the most promising one is:
http://www.unixpapa.com/mod_auth_external/ . I'll investigate this further.
