Description

Unit tests are always stored in a subdirectory "tests" of an extension. The Extension Manager should either ignore the whole content of that directory (ie. not report XCLASS errors etc.) or show a message that some unit tests are found.

It will ignore it for XCLASS errors (well, everything that is checked in getClassIndexLocallangFiles()).

I would love to add a link to run existing unit tests with t3unit of it is installed. How would I construct such a link? Thanks! :)

Linking to t3unit will be done after adding a needed API call to that extension.
