FE Login: After Login cannot logout immediately

Description
After logging in by felogin there will always be a screen saying "your now logged in…" without giving the user an opportunity to log out.
In small sites with just one Page containing login information this proves a problem as users do not understand they have to leave the page and come back in order to logout. Therefore user are not logging out when leaving the page.
I wish for a feature to turn this screen off or to say "you are now logged in" but having a log-out button beneath.
I did not find any information in the manual how to do this. If I was blind, please forgive me.

As this report is very old, is the handling in newer TYPO3 CMS Versions (like 6.0/6.1) more like you expect it?
