Description

From Robert Lemke: "Currently we are using our own infrastructure (ie. Robert’s Jiffyboxes) for integration etc. of the FLOW3 site. Question is where we host the production site in October. We are a bit reluctant to host it on a punkt.de server because in the past they could not react fast enough (create new users, install command line tools such as git etc.). Therefore, our requirement would be that we can use a Debian / Ubuntu box which we have good control over (ie. we can install puppet and install new tools ourselves if we need to).

-> any suggestion?

(it wouldn’t be a problem to host the site ourselves, but that would generate additional costs for the Jiffybox,~ 15 € per month)"

I don't think they will need to set up the server themselves. Let's just create a standard vhost for them and if some software is missing, we install it.

We're actually quick in reacting to such requests, aren't we?!
