Feature #28145: T3CON11
Create visual for making the "Buy Ticket" link more prominent
On the T3CON11 site, the link to the shop (aka "Buy Now Button") needs to become more prominent.
Jürgen asked me to insert this button into the running text of the front page:
This, however, doesn't work well, design-wise.
Please provide some visual (specially styled button or completely new design element) which you think would promote ticket sales most effectively.

here are some drafts for the buttons. (only drafts!)
It`s possible to make some further versions for hover links.

Good idea! I was thinking about a similar solution too, but wasn`t sure if it`s possible to change the slider. So I made it easy to implement and change If someone wants to.
I wouldn`t take the key visual (the folded paper) inside of the slider because this is to much. In my opinion the key visual is to dominant in the background. We should be careful, the visitor doesn`t get overhelmed.
But I like it. :-)

I feel the button Sabine created have nothing to do with the style of the website. In the meantime Denis created a tag kinda button tht will be positioned on the right of the slider area, because we realised we will need on button that is visible all the time as well. Robert's suggestion is a great eye-catcher, but I guess it needs other text on the card for sure. I would suggest to use Jürgen Egeling - Chairman of the Board - TYPO3 Association - Germany for now. Kasper really wants to be on the background I know.

just another suggestion to place one of the buttons we decide to take. (I took my version because i got it here) Would be good, to put away the other "get-ticket-buttons" in the slider and in the navigation bar.
I`m not sure, if it`s technically feasible to put the button on top of the navigation bar.
Just a suggestion. :-)
Who decides what to do?

That page is too small. The actual page deviates from the "old" design, it has no whitespace around the "stage image". Thus the image needs to be 982x282 instead of 918x252.

Hi Karten, I pulled one of the images off the stage of http://t3con11-frankfurt.typo3.org/
Dimensions are 918x252. Are you sure that the images needs to be bigger?
You got us! In fact all images are too small and get scaled in the browser :) I'll take the one you sent for now, we can "fix" this later if needed. Thanks!
