Bug #32870

Feature #36172: Forge cleanup and update umbrella issue

Use Reminder Script for Due Date

Added by Steffen Gebert over 9 years ago. Updated over 2 years ago.

Should have
Target version:
Start date:
Due date:
% Done:

Estimated time:

Use the Reminder Script to Keep Track of When Issues Are Due, see "Redmine Tips", page 32.

On my Redmine, I use: 7 days, all projects, all trackers, and only myself. So my command looks like:

$ rake redmine:send_reminders days=7 users='1' RAILS_ENV=production

So send an email, when issue's Due Date is near.

This currently fails with

srv108:/var/www/vhosts/forge.typo3.org/home/redmine/lib# rake redmine:send_reminders days=7 RAILS_ENV="production" users="486"
rake aborted!
uninitialized constant Rake::DSL

Will not do. This script is not used in the last 8 years so starting to send emails now will result in a lot of users, not using forge anymore, will receive a lot of mails and will raise maintenance and spam.
