Improve error handling in the install tool

Description

When an error occurs in the install tool the user will silently be redirected to the Extension compatibility tester without knowing what is going on.

I would suggest to disable the redirection and always display the error message, including the original PHP error message to give the user more control and information about what is going on.

Alexander, if I'm correct this has improved. Can you check if the error that is thrown now is shown for you?
