Translating a content element in a grid-container -> element is inserted in the wrong language column
I have a gridelement container (two-column element), and in the left column a simple text-element. Default language is german and translation is english. The gridelement is already translated, the text-element isn't.
When I translate the text-element to english now, it get's displayed in the left column of the gridelement in the german language. Directly after the german element. BUT it should be inserted in the left column of the english translation of the gridelement container.

After digging deeper this weekend, I found out that there are different issues related to the problems you mentioned.
So it's not completely duplicating #50800.
There are several issues related to this core patch #42768, which seems to have broken the language view, when it comes to elements with language "all".
So this will need at least a follow up if not a revert.
But after all at least I was able to fix the gridelements behaviour in the columns view when translations are selected.

It seems, that this bug exists in 2.1.0-dev.
Using TYPO3 6.1 and Gridelements 2.1.0-dev.
Default language is englisch, translation is german.
After translating a content element to german it get's displayed in the default language column in the page modul and it must be manual moved into the correct language column.

i must translate the element in the list view, because the "copy default content elements" button isn't shown. There are already existing translated elements on this page.
At this moment I see that this is declared as Major Feature for the GE 3.1: http://forge.typo3.org/issues/50800#note-4
I was bemused, because this issue is marked as resolved and won't work in my installation.
