Drag & drop doesn't work if you have to scroll
If you drag a content element to a place, where you have to scroll to, you can't drop it. The drop zone is just inactive.
It was tested with the latest gridelements master and TYPO3 6.2.2 with installed introduction package.

Could it be that you scrolled using the mouse wheel, while holding down the mouse button at the same time?
Actually this is the only way I can reproduce the behaviour that can be seen in the animation.
Well - first of all, this seems pretty hard to do and second it is just not necessary, since you can just drag the element to the edge of the visible part of the page and it will start to scroll automatically.

Yes, I'm using the mouse wheel while holding down the mouse button at the same time.
I didn't know that it scrolls automatically if I move it to the edges of the visible part, thanks for that hint!
If it's to hard to fix that, then maybe you can set it "on hold"? I think almost every editor will use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down, so it would be nice in terms of usability.
