Description
currently we have three clear cache buttons:
either the system cache you also clear the opcode cache if available or we should have an option to add a clear opcode cache as well
I'd love to not see a 4th entry in the clear cache menu. Usability-wise that is too complicated already and most (admin) i know already just klick "all" buttons all the time. Let us please not make this worse. Also, i wonder why opcode cache should be clearable at all as std. functionality in the backend? That is only needed if code is changed, so install tool is the right place for that already and opcode caches are already deleted upon minor core upgrades, and on extension installation in extension manager.
IMO the opcode is really nothing a user should see and know what this is. +1 for closing as well
that's a function i often use as developer, as sometimes the opcode cache does not recognize changes.
So the 3rd entry and the 4th one should be switched of by default, but it should be possible to have them
- Status changed from New to Rejected
Key, I suggest you add it to EXT:developer, as this is definitively developer related, not needed for the core, as stated above.
