Description

This setting shows also pages with the mark "Hide in Menus". I guess, that's not okay, is it?

This is indeed intended
A shortcut has nothing to do with visibility of a menu item.

Imagine the following usecase:
Your rootpage is called "Home" but you want to link to a "hidden" page one level beneath it.
So it is indeed crucial that a shortcut can lead to pages that are hidden in menus.
