Description

Not quite sure, but either it is a bug in the extension manager or the documentation is old.

The part http://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/CoreApiReference/singlehtml/Index.html#extension-declaration shows that "title" and "description" are required. However, you can drop both from an emconf and the extension is still loadable.

Dear Pascal,

thanks very much for your bug report. You're right, the fields are optional for loading an extension. Only the extension key is important. However they are needed for an upload to TER and further more it does not really make sense to drop one of them. This is why I reject this issue. If you think this is the wrong decision, please get in contact with us on Slack or create a new issue!

Thanks for your support to TYPO3!
