Some subpages are ignored at page statistics
The Page View list in Single Month Details view is sometimes incomplete. By e.g. showing statistics of the root page, you should get a list of all (!) counted pages of all levels. But some of the sublevel pages won’t appear before you look to an inferior page statistic at all. The calculations of the superior pages (pretending to include all subpages) are based on these incorrect data.
Real life example: The list of one page including their subpages displays in Overview the value of 29,584 page impressions. Addition of the PI values of the pages in inferior level and of the superior page results in the sum of 30,588.
The effect occurs in both of my TYPO3 sites which are monitored by ke_stats (formerly 0.2.0, since some months 0.3.x). These at some levels ignored pages are located in different (not in all) site trees, and in different levels. They are mostly the same all the time but I’ve neither been able to isolate some special nor some identical entities of these pages.
The crucial problem should be evident: As long as you can’t be sure each page to be taken into account, the shown figures and sums (especially for the whole site) are a little bit like a long guess …

I did as you suggested, but unfortunately the effect remains. Nevertheless it has been good advice: One of the tables grew up to 266 MB over the last six months. Till today (as not all pages have been revisited in March) there are six unlisted pages at the rootpage list.
Three of them already have been ignored in February. These three pages all contains a tt_news plugin. But one page, which has been listed so far, also contains such a plugin, some more pages also do and still are listed and at least there is such a formerly ignored page, which now is listed again.
The other pages contains some normal Content Elements, nothing seems to be special there.
