Hi Milo,
can you please describe at which IRRE this occurs? I tried it with the "Text & Media" of fluid_styled_content and can't reproduce the error.
Can you also please tell which TYPO3 version you are using? I can't find any file, except Editor.js, mentioned in your posted stack trace in the current master.

It actually seems to be a FormEngine issue with thumbnails when ajax getRecordDetails
