Description

Using vfsStream to create a virtual filesystem it's possible to test most of the GeneralUtility filesystem functions and file permission operations in isolation from the actual filesystem.

This helps to make the test less reliant on the capabilities of the actual filesystem and the actual user running the unit tests.
