Hi,

I think it would be a better solution to redirect the user to the frontend after a success logout.

That does not make sense.
Every application with a dedicated login brings you back to that login once you log out.
Apart from that, the main issue is where to send the user to.

Imagine having an TYPO3 instance with 40+ trees.
You cannot reliably send the user to a given frontend at all.
