Is there some reason why you only support PHP5? TYPO3 7.6 is supporting PHP7 too.

only with composer. If you install it via typo3-ter/scriptmerger it fails because of php5.6 maximum.
I now added it to composer directly with your gitlab source (bypassing composer.typo3.org) and it works. i would guess composer.typo3.org parses ext_emconf.php and uses the required php version for composer (since in there is still php 5.6 as maximum defined).

Same problem here. The extension works just fine with PHP7 but the TYPO3 TER composer version can not be used, because the TER creates the composer.json file from the ext_emconf.php. The dependency string to PHP in the ext_emconf.php can be changed to at least 7.0. Would be great if this could be done soon, because the gitlab repository hangs up every time I request the git repository. Alternatively it would be great, if this repo would be a real repository at packagist.org.
