CKEditor adding Paragraphs and turns BR into P / wrong parsing
The Editor doesn't seem to parse as expected even on the smallest use-case.
This was tested on a pretty much defaulted TYPO3 8.7.1, I haven't changed the Editor settings at all.
Now when I create a new dce with "Inherit RTE from TSConfig" OR "Full RTE" and try out the editor, add some text and save, it turns
<p>Test<br /> line</p> <p>123</p>
<p> </p> <p>Test</p> <p>line</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>123</p>
It only does this in dce-fields, when I try the same in a non-dce Textfield, it doesn't change the HTML (as expected).
Is this reproducable for you?

Sry, this seems to be a bug in ckeditor, not in DCE.
Also I've recognized that a requiered RTE field is not initially save-able. FormEngine thinks the field is empty, but it isn't. Also a bug in new RTE.
So please use the old RTE until they've fixed it:

I come from having the same empty-line problem with EXT:fluidcontent: https://github.com/FluidTYPO3/flux/issues/1388
Others experience the same: https://forge.typo3.org/issues/80778
Given this deprecation/replacement: https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/extensions/core/8.7/Changelog/8.6/Feature-79341-TCARichtextConfigurationInConfigSection.html
... one should probably just add config['enableRichtext'] = true; This should at least solve the original problem. While defaultExtras for RTE should probably only be deprecated in 8 LTS, it would be preferable if enableRichtext would just be implemented in DCE.
